How do I enroll?
You are automatically enrolled in mobile deposit if you are at least 15 years of age, your account has been open at least 30 days and there are no ineligible warnings on the account.
Which types of shares can I deposit a check in to?
Most all share types are eligible. The system will alert you if the share type is invalid. Keep in mind you may only deposit into the account you are logged in to. Mobile Deposit is not available for alternate access accounts.
How do I endorse the back of the check?
Endorse any item deposited using the Mobile Deposit service with the words
- "For Mobile Deposit Only Trona Valley FCU"
- The Payee's signature (your endorsement)
- The last four digits of your account number
Or as otherwise instructed by us.
Is my deposit available immediately?
Some of the funds are available immediately and the remaining amount will be available the second business day.
Are there check deposit limits?
Yes, limits and remaining limits are displayed on the main mobile deposit screen. You may contact the credit union to request a limit increase.
Why is my mobile deposit still showing a “Pending” status?
There are a few reasons a check may need to be manually reviewed such as improper endorsement. Do not attempt to deposit the check again unless you receive a message from the credit union to do so. Refer to How to Make a Mobile Deposit for more information.
Why did I receive a “Failed” status when depositing my check?
A deposit will fail if certain criteria is not met such as poor image quality. Refer to How to Make a Mobile Deposit for more information.
How long should I keep my deposited check?
Once you have verified the check deposit was successful keep the check in a secure location for 30 days, then destroy it in a secure and irretrievable manner. This provides sufficient time in case the original item is required for any reason.
